She studied classical singing with Dina Grossberger at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and obtained her master&#8217;s degree with great distinction. In 2012, she won first prize at the Bell&#8217;Arte International Singing Competition (B).<br\/>Her participation in the Queen Elisabeth Singing Competition 2011 did not go unnoticed either, and in the autumn of 2018 she performed at the Autumn Concert and the Gala Concert at the Royal Palace as a soloist with the Royal Music Chapel of the Guides, as well as at Bozar.<br\/>In 2016, Emilie officially entered the choral world as a conductor. She did so as the new chief conductor of Chorus Erasmus, a mixed choir from Anderlecht. A year later, she joined &#8216;t Opwijks Mannenkoor, and in September 2019, she also became musical director of Canta Ludens, a mixed choir from Drongen (Ghent).
