On Friday 11 September concert at 15:00hrs
The choir has been in existence for over 60 years.
Its repertoire covers the entire musical spectrum, ranging from opera to musicals, including sacred music, spirituals and traditional folk songs. This repertoire includes songs in Latin, Welsh, German, Russian, Xhosa and Māori, always performed from memory, without manuscript.
They also sang at the ‘Last Post’ ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres a WWI memorial.
