17/10/2026 – 17:30hrs Madrigalchor Berghausen sings during mass.

The Madrigalchor Berghausen e.V. was founded on 1 August 1920 under the name ‘Männergesangverein Berghausen’ (Berghausen Men’s Choir). In the 1950s, it became a mixed choir.

The Madrigalchor Berghausen performs at numerous events in Berghausen and the surrounding area.

In addition to its many choral performances, the annual programme includes the bread-baking festival and, every two years, participation in the Aßlar town festival.

Since 2002, Mr Holger Hedrich has been the director of the Madrigalchor Berghausen choir. He has helped to raise the standard of the choir and to develop a highly demanding repertoire. The choir currently has around 40 active members.
