DESCRIPTION:\nPhoto Mikhail Sytenkov\n\n\n\nFrom Thursday 11 December 2025 to Saturday 21 March 2026, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with two or three performances per evening (with some exceptions), Luminiscence Show: Sound and Light creation inside the cathedral.\n\nAfter dazzling more than a million spectators, LUMINISCENCE continues its tour and takes over the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels, which is celebrating its 800th anniversary during the Gudula 2026 year.\n\nA true masterpiece of Brabant Gothic architecture, the cathedral has dominated Brussels since the 13th century. An unprecedented sensory journey where light and music come together to bring eight centuries of history back to life. Monumental projections transform the stone into a living work of art, revealing all the beauty and power of this jewel of Brussels’ heritage.  \n\n\n\nThanks to its 3D modelling and projection technology, Luminiscence accurately recreates every architectural detail, bringing the nave, walls, columns and stained glass windows back to life in a unique show. This bilingual show (French/Dutch), which is a first in Belgium, offers spectators an exceptional artistic and immersive experience, allowing everyone to discover the artistic richness of the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula.
