SUMMARY:17/05/2026 – Pilgrimage from Saint-Nicolas Church in La Hulpe to Saints Michel and Gudule Cathedral
DESCRIPTION:\nIn 2026, the Church of Saint Nicholas in La Hulpe and the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula commemorate their 800th anniversary. Throughout their history, these two edifices havebeen visited by numerous pilgrims. It is therefore only natural that these twochurches of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels organise a pilgrimage toenable the faithful to take part in a journey similar to that of those who came before them.This pilgrimage of around twenty kilometres will link the Brabant countryside to the centreof Brussels. Throughout the journey, participants will share moments ofprayer, singing and fraternal exchange. Breaks are planned for prayer, thereading of religious texts or simply to eat.
